Hollow O-Rings (also known as hollow core rubber rings or low closure force seals) are specialized elastomeric sealing rings featuring a hollow tubular cross-section designed to provide reliable hermetic sealing with minimal compression force. Standard solid O-rings require significant bolt torque that can easily warp, crack, or distort lightweight plastic housings, delicate acrylic lenses, and thin-gauge sheet metal enclosures. Hollow O-rings overcome this challenge by providing massive elastic deflection under ultra-low clamping loads. We manufacture custom hollow O-rings through precision profile extrusion and hot-vulcanized endless splicing in high-grade Silicone, EPDM, and FKM tailored to your exact groove dimensions.
