1. Excellent aging resistance. Outstanding ozone resistance, far better than butyl rubber and CR. Good weather resistance, 3 years in the sun without cracks. NR150 days crack, SBR5 days crack, 70 days fracture. Good aging resistance. It can be used for a long time at 150℃. Aging resistance is the best universal rubber.
2, chemical corrosion resistance. To a variety of polar chemicals and acids, alkali have greater resistance. Poor resistance to hydrocarbon oils.
3, good electrical insulation. More than butyl rubber, suitable for 45~65KW high pressure.
4. Good impact and cold resistance. The rebound rate can reach 50%~60%, second only to NR and BR. The elastic retention performance is better at low temperature, hardening at -57℃, brittle at -77℃.
The disadvantages of ethylene propylene rubber sealing ring: curing speed is slow
Three to four times slower than normal. Difficulty in mixing with other unsaturated gums; Self-viscosity and mutual viscosity is poor, adhesion is difficult, processing performance is not good. But it is easy to get raw materials, cheap price, mainly used in rubber hose, tape, auto parts, wire and cable.
