Rubber Material Bonded Washer is a high-performance hybrid sealing and load-bearing component produced by vulcanizing an elastomeric layer directly onto a metal washer core. The bonded construction combines the elasticity and sealing ability of rubber with the structural strength of a metal insert, providing reliable sealing, cushioning and anti-vibration properties in a compact part. These washers are widely used where a secure seal and mechanical support are required in one element.
The metal core (carbon steel, stainless steel or plated steel) provides dimensional stability and prevents extrusion or deformation under load, while the elastomer (NBR, EPDM, Silicone, or FKM) supplies elastic recovery and media compatibility. The vulcanization process creates an integral bond between rubber and metal, eliminating the risk of separation in service and ensuring consistent performance under repeated compression, thermal cycling and mechanical stress.
