1. Natural rubber NR
It is made of latex collected from rubber trees and belongs to isoprene polymer. It has high elasticity, high wear resistance, strong tensile strength and strong elongation. But its aging resistance is relatively poor, long-term exposure to the air is easy to age, and it is easy to become sticky after heat, alkali resistance and strong acid resistance.

2, styrene butadiene gum SBR
From the name, we can know that it is a copolypolymer of butadiene and styrene. Compared with natural rubber, its texture is more uniform, and there are less foreign bodies mixed in the material, but the mechanical strength is poor. Generally, it can be mixed with natural rubber materials to improve the performance of the product.

3. Butyl rubber IIR
This material is made of isobutene and isoprenes polymerization, the material contains a small amount of unsaturated base for sulfur use, because the methyl stereoscopic obstacle molecular movement is less, so it has poor permeability, better resistance to sunlight and ozone, alcohol, ketone, ester and other polar solvents resistance is strong, its temperature adaptation range is also relatively large, It can adapt to the temperature of -54~110℃. However, it is not suitable for use with solvents such as petroleum, colloidal kerosene and aromatic hydrogen.

4. Hydrogenated butadiene gel HNBR
It is a material formed by removing a part of the double chain in the material after hydrogenation. After hydrogenation, whether the temperature resistance or weather resistance is much higher than the general butadiene rubber. Its oil resistance and butadiene rubber material are similar, suitable for the temperature range of -25~150℃, and it has good corrosion resistance, tensile resistance and tear resistance characteristics. It is not suitable for use with alcohols, esters, or aromatic solutions.

5. EPDM
It is made of ethylene and propylene material copolymerization, the material's heat resistance, aging resistance, ozone resistance and stability are very good, it has good resistance to alcohol, ketone, ethylene glycol and phospholipids solvent, it is suitable for the temperature range of -50~150℃. However, it is not suitable for use in the food processing industry, and it is not suitable for use in warm water steam environment.

6. Butyl Eyeglass NBR
The material is made of acrylonitrile and butadiene copolymerization. The higher the content of acrylonitrile in the material, the more resistant it is to hydrocarbon fuel oil, which is a petrochemical oil, but its low temperature resistance will become worse. The material has good compressibility, abrasion resistance and elongation, but it is not suitable for use in polar solvents.

7, chloroprene glue CR
It is made of chloroprene monomer polymerization material, after curing treatment, its elasticity and wear resistance are better, and not afraid of direct sunlight, so it has strong atmospheric aging resistance, but also has fire resistance, but when it is relatively easy to crystallization, hardening and other conditions in the low temperature environment.

8. Silicone rubber SI
It is made of silica gel main chain combined with silicon (-si-o-si). The material has good temperature resistance, oxidation resistance and insulation, and has good resistance to neutral solvents. However, the tensile strength of the material is not as good as ordinary rubber material, and the oil resistance is poor.

O-ring material classification and advantages and disadvantages are first introduced to this, you can know that the advantages and disadvantages of different materials are not the same, and different materials produced by the seal application occasions are different, I hope you should be careful when choosing.
