Viton Extreme O-Rings are advanced sealing components manufactured from high-performance fluoroelastomers. This family of elastomer materials is formulated to provide exceptional resistance to heat, oil, fuel, aggressive chemicals, and harsh industrial environments. Compared with standard elastomers, Viton-based sealing products maintain stability and sealing performance under operating conditions that would degrade conventional rubber.

 

Viton Extreme O-Rings are widely used in demanding industries such as automotive, motorcycles, oil & gas, aerospace, chemical processing, food & beverage equipment, and industrial machinery.

Why Viton Extreme O-Rings?

 

1) Exceptional High-Temperature Resistance

Viton materials maintain their elasticity and sealing capability at elevated temperatures significantly beyond most other commercial rubbers.

Typical thermal endurance ranges include:

Continuous operation: up to approx. 200–230°C

Short peak exposure: approx. 250–300°C

Proven performance through high-temperature aging cycles

Even after thermal stress cycles, Viton Extreme O-Rings retain sealing function and physical stability with very minimal degradation.

Dynamic operation: –18 to –23°C

Static sealing: down to approx. –40°C / –50°C (application-dependent)

Under static applications, Viton seals have demonstrated acceptable performance even at extremely low temperatures close to cryogenic range.
