❓ How do I correctly measure an oval hole in my panel?
Unlike a circle, you must measure the Major Axis (the longest length of the hole), the Minor Axis (the shortest width of the hole), and the Panel Thickness. Provide these three numbers, and we can match them to our mold library.
❓ Can oval grommets hold high pressure or water submersion?
Oval grommets provide excellent splash and dust resistance. However, due to their elongated geometry, they do not distribute pressure as evenly as a perfect circle. For deep water submersion or high-pressure sealing, additional sealants or mechanical glands are recommended.
