Corrugation Design

U - shaped Corrugations: U-shaped corrugations offer good flexibility and a relatively large expansion and contraction capacity. They are suitable for applications where significant axial movement is expected.
V - shaped Corrugations: V-shaped corrugations provide higher stiffness and better resistance to high-pressure environments. They are often used in applications where the EPDM bellows need to withstand large internal or external pressures.

Pitch and Wave Height: The pitch (the distance between adjacent corrugations) and wave height (the height of each corrugation) are designed to optimize the mechanical performance of the bellows. A smaller pitch and larger wave height can increase the flexibility but may reduce the pressure-bearing capacity, while a larger pitch and smaller wave height can improve the pressure resistance but decrease the flexibility. The design should strike a balance based on the specific application requirements.
