EPDM Material Advantages
Saltwater Corrosion Resistance: EPDM molecules lack double bonds and are naturally resistant to salt spray and microorganisms in seawater.
Wide Temperature Range: Operating temperature range of -40°C to 120°C, capable of withstanding temperature fluctuations during engine cold starts and continuous operation, preventing brittleness or softening.
Flame Retardant Upgrade: Certified to UL94 V0 flame retardant standards, self-extinguishing within 10 seconds of contact with an open flame, with no melting or dripping, reducing the risk of fires caused by fuel leaks in the engine compartment, and compliant with marine fire safety regulations.
With Yarn Reinforcement
Pressure reinforcement: Polyester fibers are spirally woven into the rubber layer, enabling the hose to withstand a working pressure of 0.2 MPa and a burst pressure of 0.8 MPa, ensuring reliable performance under sudden pressure fluctuations caused by ship vibrations.
Deformation Resistance: The yarn and rubber are bonded using a special adhesive process, with a peel strength of ≥5 N/mm and a tear strength of ≥25 kN/m. This ensures resistance to installation bending and long-term vibration, preventing delamination and bulging.
